what OUR GUESTS SAy...

Ronda

The historic city of Ronda is just 10 kilometres distant. Its dramatic location spanning a gorge some 200 metres deep has attracted travellers, writers and artists for centuries. The old city boasts many sites of interest dating back to its moorish origins, while across the famous ‘new bridge’ – which spans the gorge, can be found the commercial centre and bullring. Ronda can easily be reached by car, by train along the picturesque railway line which runs up the Guardiaro valley, or on foot

WHITE VILLAGES

The surrounding Serranias are known not just for their spectacular mountain scenery but also for the pueblos blancos, or white villages. These villages of Moorish origins enjoy spectacular settings above the valleys of two rivers – the Guadiaro and Genal, and merit exploration for a range of geographical, architectural and historic reasons.

ANDALUCIAN CITIES

Further afield are the major cities of Andalucia –  or Andalusia as it is sometimes spelled – Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba, Jerez, Cadiz and Malaga are all within reach of a days outing. The coastal resorts of Marbella and Estepona are an hour away. Also worth a visit are the traditional Spanish resorts of the yet unspoilt Costa de la Luz – Tarifa, Chiclana and Sanlucar de Barrameda.
